Do you wear glasses or struggle with poor eyesight? Correcting your vision might not be as hard as it seems, and you don’t need glasses to fix it.
In fact, you can improve your eyesight without laser surgery or glasses, it just takes a bit of effort on your behalf to work to repair it. Since we no longer live in a natural environment, looking at trees and nature isn’t something we’re accustomed to. Instead, it’s computer screens, televisions, and cell phones – looking at small type and images that messes with our vision.
Follow these eight tips to sharpen your vision without surgery or glasses:
1. Resting your eyes
Make sure to give your eyes a break several times a day. This means to close your eyes for a few minutes and go into a room with low lighting. In a case you spend most of your day looking at a computer screen, you should adjust the brightness in order not strain your eyes.
2. Eye massage
Round your eye socket. There are other methods that include utilizing your index finger and thumb to gently press on the area right above the inner corner of your eyes. Massaging your temples and the area on the back of your skull directly behind your eye sockets also aids in increasing circulation in the eye area.
3. Adding to your diet
You must consume a good amount of carrots and sweet potatoes every day, because they are rich in vitamin A, which is a nutrient essential to good vision.
4. Limit time spent looking at computer screens
Computer screens put a lot of strain on the eyes. Eye problems caused by computer use fall under the heading computer vision syndrome (CVS). When you work at a computer, your eyes have to focus and refocus all the time, which puts a lot of strain on your eyes. Limiting time spent looking at computer screens will help vision greatly.
5. 20-20-20 rule
You should take regular breaks from looking at your computer. You can use the 20-20-20 rule. For every 20 minutes of computer use, take a break and stare at something that is 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds.
6. Going outside
People should spend more time in nature. If you are hiking through a ravine or hanging out in a park there is less of a chance that your eyes will be exposed to light sources that can harm your vision.
Every day, apply warm and damp cloths on the eyes and press them for half an hour – as with massaging, warmth will help relax the muscles around the eyes, and vision will naturally start to get better.
7. Exercising your eyes

If this is your first time trying this exercise,you need to try to focus on each symbol individually and just stare at them for a while in order to fully understand the meaning of them.
