If you watch “The Carol Burnett Show,” you’ll notice that it continually makes people laugh and smile. Tim Conway’s excellent improvisation in this clip had his co-stars in stitches.
In a scenario while they were playing the game “Password,” Mickey Hart, played by Conway, decided to tell a funny story about an elephant who lived in a circus. Dick Van Dyke, Vicki Lawrence, and Carol Burnett were unable to stop laughing.
Conway’s story took a surprising turn when he mentioned the elephant and its trainer having a romance. He even made a joke about how they were buried together after pa:ssing away. The other performers struggled to suppress their emotions, shivering and covering their faces as they tried to gather themselves.
You can only imagine how infectious the laughing was for both the performers and the studio audience. These types of moments serve as a reminder of “The Carol Burnett Show’s” popularity.
