Kate Middleton’s hair causes another stir as new pictures leave people over what colour it really is

Kate Middleton’s hair comes after the blue and black or white and gold dress.

New images of the royal’s hair have surfaced, leaving the internet perplexed once more, just when we thought the story was over.

In case you missed it, earlier this month, while visiting the new gardens at London’s Natural History Museum, the Princess of Wales made her public debut with a new hair color.

Kate replaced her brown hair with considerably blonder hair as she and her husband, Prince William, returned to their royal duties following their summer vacation.

As the princess made her way to a church service in Scotland a few weeks earlier, fans rushed to congratulate her on the significant alteration, which was initially seen via a car window.

One Royal Family follower commented: “That’s a gorgeous colour!”

Another added: “Talk about a hair transformation,” complimenting the princess’ new look.

Less than a week later, on September 8, Kate went on another royal excursion, this time to the National Federation of Women’s Institutes, which caused some misunderstanding.

People were perplexed because Kate had been spotted with blonde hair just days prior, yet some of the photos from the occasion seemed to show her with dark hair.

People on social media started to wonder if she had really colored her hair back and given up on the blonde entirely.

However, it was quickly assumed that it must have simply been a trick of lighting and angles that triggered her hair to look so different.

The New York Post recorded that Kate had ‘returned to her classic brunette look’ after getting backlash from cruel trolls about her new hair colour.

Nevertheless, the princess’s admirers quickly pointed out that “nothing had changed,” and further pictures from the occasion demonstrated that it was indeed blonde.

However, Kate’s attendance at the Duchess of Kent’s burial at Westminster Cathedral today (16 September) appears to have reignited the discussion.

Even though Kate’s hair is still honey blonde, some of the photos by royal photographer Chris Jackson of Getty Images make it appear even lighter, almost silver.

But it wasn’t just her hair that seemed different – fans also found that the pictures made her outfit look royal blue, when it was actually black.

One confused Twitter user reacted to the image by writing: “Am I suddenly colourblind? She was wearing black from head to toe, and her hair wasn’t grey either… What’s the point of that?”

A second added: “I don’t know who is playing around with filters, lighting & contrast but the Princess of Wales was wearing her black bow tie Catherine Walker coat dress & certainly not a navy blue version.”

And a third wrote: “I honestly thought it was just the lighting. Every time I turn around in these pictures, it looks like she had 1000 outfit and hair changes.”
