Like most dads, this guy had a huge impact on his little girl growing up.
He gave her away to the person she loves most in the world. He was and still is a big part of her life.
The dad deserves a “Dad of the Year” award for the story we are about to share!
Bride Nicole Corte was ecstatic. Her big day had gone off without a hitch.
The vows were said, the guests had changed venues without anyone getting lost, and everyone was enjoying drinks.
Nicole knew her dad Cue’d play a big role on her big day, but she didn’t expect this.
Cue took the stage (Hartland’s ‘I loved her first’ began playing as he did, causing Nicole to test up immediately) and delivered this moving performance.
Her father knew Nicole’s passion for sign language as an ASL instructor, so he had spent the last year learning to sign.
Now he put those skills to use as he preformed along with the song.
The loving display was captured on camera and uploaded to YouTube.
“At my wedding reception my dad surprises my new husband and I by signing a beautiful song. I am a sign language interpreter so this meant the world to me. He said it took him the entire year I was engaged to learn how to sign this song.”, Nicole wrote in the description of the video
With so much love in both sides, it’s no wonder it’s been viewed over over 20 million times!
It reminds us all that even though we may be “giving away” our children when they get married, we can still remain close.
In addition, it gives us some #weddinggoals that we aren’t sure many can live up to!
