A photo of Donald Trump‘s grandson was posted on Instagram to celebrate his 13th birthday, but it has sparked outrage on social media.
Some people would say the POTUS has quite a big family, sharing five children from three marriages: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump with Ivana Trump; Tiffany Trump with Marla Maples and his youngest Barron, with third wife Melania Trump.
And from those children, he has 11 grandchildren.
Don Jr. and his former wife Vanessa have five children, his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner have three, son Eric and his wife Lara share two, and his daughter Tiffany and her husband Michael Boulos have one.
Trump really has been spoiled with the amount of love that surrounds him, and he is particularly close with his eldest grandchild, Kai Trump.
She is often spotted playing golf with her granddad, and has hopes to become a professional golfer.
Recently, in an interview, Kai said: “It’s just like having a normal grandpa.
“There’s nothing different I would say.
“We have some pretty tight [golf] matches.”
Yet it’s a different grandchild who has sparked outrage among users online.
Spencer Trump, Kai’s younger brother, is the grandchild who has gotten everyone talking.
Their dad, Donald Trump Jr., posted a snap of the two for Spencer’s 13th birthday, but it seems people really weren’t impressed.
The 47-year-old captioned the photo: “Happy birthday to the littlest of my little men.
“Spencer, I can’t believe you’re 13 and I hope you have an awesome day buddy.
“I love you so much. I can’t wait to get back into the outdoors with you. You make me very proud.”
While many MAGA supporters wished Spencer a happy birthday, many were quick to point out a controversial detail in the pic.
One said: “Not even 13 and you threw a gun in his arms.
“Truly sick. There is no reason a young man today needs to kill an animal for food.”
Another added: “You’re a sorry excuse for a human – not happy unless you’re killing some innocent animals.”
Three of the pictures posted for his birthday showed the 13-year-old posed with a hunting gun.
And it’s not the first time that Don Jr. has been called out for hunting wild animals.
In 2019, the BBC reported that his hunting trip to Mongolia allegedly cost US taxpayers over $75,000 (£59,000).
