A hardened criminal managed to escape from a high-security prison after serving fifteen long years behind bars. Desperate for cash and weapons to aid his flight from the law, he broke into a quiet suburban home in the middle of the night. Sneaking into the master bedroom, he surprised a young couple asleep in bed.
Wielding a weapon, the convict barked orders. He forced the husband out of bed and tied him securely to a chair in the corner of the room, then proceeded to tie the wife to the bedposts. Finished with the knots, the criminal leaned down, got incredibly close to the wife’s face, and murmured something under his breath. He then abruptly stood up and walked into the master bathroom, closing the door behind him.
The moment the bathroom door clicked shut, the terrified husband frantically whispered across the room to his wife.
“Listen to me, honey! That guy is an escaped convict—did you see his clothes? He’s been locked up for fifteen years, which means he hasn’t seen a woman in over a decade. I saw how close he just got to you. If he wants anything from you, just go along with it! Don’t fight him, don’t make him angry. We just need to survive tonight. Be strong, honey. I love you!”
The wife looked over at her husband, perfectly calm, and whispered back:
“He wasn’t trying to get close to me like that. He was actually just whispering a question. He told me he’s gay, thinks you are absolutely cute, and asked if we had any body lotion in the house. I told him it was right there on the bathroom counter. Be strong, honey. I love you too!”
