A Minnesota Highway Patrol Story

One time I pulled over an elderly lady for speeding on Highway 210, right around mile marker 197, just east of McGregor, Minnesota.

I asked for her license, registration, and proof of insurance. She calmly handed me all the paperwork.

To my surprise, tucked in there was also a c*nc*aled c*rry p*rm*t. Given her age, I couldn’t help but ask if she was *rm*d.

Without batting an eye, she said, “Yes. I’ve got a .45 in the g*ve box.”

That made me curious, so I asked if she had anything else.

“Sure,” she replied, “there’s a 9mm Gl*ck in the center console.”

At this point, I raised an eyebrow and asked, “Is that all?”

She shook her head. “Nope. There’s a .38 in my purse.”

Finally, I asked her, “Ma’am… what on earth are you so afraid of?”

She looked me straight in the eye and said,
“Afraid? Honey, I’m not afraid of a d*mn thing.”
