A young guy went to his dad and said, “Dad, I’m in love with Sandra, the neighbor’s daughter, and I want to ask her out!”
The dad sighed heavily. “Son, I have a confession, but you must promise not to tell your mother. Sandra is actually your half-sister. I was a bit wild back in the day.”
Naturally bummed out, the son tried to move on. A few months later, he returned. “Dad, I found someone else! It’s Angela, the other neighbor’s daughter.”
The dad winced. “Oh boy… I wish you hadn’t said that. Angela is also your sister.”
This exact scenario happened four more times until the boy couldn’t take it anymore. Furious and in tears, he ran straight to his mother. “Mom, I am so mad at Dad! I’ve fallen in love with six different girls, but I can’t date any of them because Dad is their father!”
The mother smiled warmly, hugged him tightly, and said, “Oh, my sweet boy, you can date whoever you want. He isn’t your father anyway!”
