My son came home from school looking unusually serious.
He dropped his backpack, walked over to me, and asked,
“Dad… did you go to the same school I go to now?”
I smiled.
“Sure did. About twenty years ago.”
He nodded thoughtfully.
“Really?”
“Why do you ask?”
He took a deep breath and said,
“Because my teacher, Ms. White, said…”
“She hasn’t seen an idiot like me in over twenty years.”
I just stared at him.
He stared back.
Then it hit me…

I was still the school’s record holder. 😂
