Three friends rushed into the train station…
Completely out of breath.
Unfortunately…
The train had already started pulling away.
A station worker saw them sprinting toward the platform and jumped into action.
With one mighty shove…
He pushed the first friend onto the moving train.
Then another shove…
The second friend made it aboard too.
But before he could help the third man…
The train disappeared down the tracks.
The worker wiped the sweat from his forehead and said,
“I’m really sorry, sir.”
“I did everything I could, but I couldn’t get you onto the train.”
To his surprise…
The man burst out laughing.
The worker looked confused.
“What’s so funny?”
The man grinned.
“Actually…”
“The two guys who got on the train are the ones with a problem.”
The worker frowned.
“Why would they have a problem?”
The man smiled even wider.
“Because…”
“…they weren’t traveling.”
A puzzled silence.
Then he delivered the punchline…
“They only came to the station to see me off!” 😂🤣
